- Co-led the ground-up platform rebuild with the founding engineer, replacing an early Rails prototype with a full-stack TypeScript healthcare platform serving paying members and clinical teams.
- Shaped core architecture and technology choices across Express, PostgreSQL, Drizzle, authentication and clinical integrations; built foundational backend systems and AWS platform.
- Owned delivery of the member-facing Next.js application from designs through production, including onboarding, health-history collection, documents, appointments, results dashboards and care plans.
- Designed and built the ecommerce platform and led product and technical design for prescription purchasing, translating clinical and commercial requirements into consultation, approval, eligibility, payment and subscription workflows.
- Built clinical-operations tooling for automated clinician assignment, workload management and scheduling, alongside integrations with Cliniko, Cal.com and Stripe and the platform's initial AI-chat service.
- Introduced shared Claude Code plugins, reusable skills and engineering workflows across the team; contributed to engineering practices and a supportive culture as the team grew from two to seven engineers.
- Lead the company-wide ISO 27001 programme, with certification targeted for Nov 2026: established the information security management system and Vanta implementation, and drive risk assessment, policies, control improvements and audit preparation.
- Own business continuity and disaster recovery planning, and coordinate security improvements and awareness training across the organisation alongside product engineering responsibilities.
